Tour Plan

Day 01 Itineraries

Visit the Qutb Minar

  • As per your schedule, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and begin your day of sightseeing,
  • Qutb Minar is a minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex, a Unesco World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi. The surrounding archaeological area contains funerary buildings, notably the magnificent Alai-Darwaza-Gate, the masterpiece of Indo-Muslim art (built-in 1311), and two mosques, including the Quwwatu’l-Islam, the oldest in northern India.

Explore the Lotus Temple

  • The Lotus Temple, located in New Delhi, India, is a Bahá’í House of Worship completed in 1986. Notable for its flower-like shape, it serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent and has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Bahá’í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all regardless of religion or any other qualification. The building is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides, with nine doors opening onto a central hall with height of slightly over 40 meters and a capacity of 2,500 people.

Visit India Gate

  • Is an ode to the fallen Indian soldiers of World War I. Another memorial, Amar Jawan Jyoti was added under the arch much later. The eternal flame burns day and night under the arch to remind the nation of soldiers who laid down their lives. At nightfall, India Gate is beautifully lit, including the surrounding fountains, to make a lovely display with colored lights. The large expanse of lush green lawns is a popular picnic spot.

Explore the Jama Masjid

  • Jama Masjid (the mosque of Friday) is the country's largest and perhaps its most magnificent mosque. The great mosque of Old Delhi is the final architectural extravagance of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan with a spacious courtyard that holds thousands of the faithful who offer their prayers here. The highly decorative mosque has three great gates, four towers and two 40 m-high minarets constructed of strips of red sandstone and white marble.
