Tour Plan

Day 01 Itineraries

Albert Hall Museum

  • The museum's architecture is a testament to the grandeur of the Indo-Saracenic style, blending elements of Hindu, Mughal, and European architecture.
  • Just as the Hawa Mahal is celebrated for its intricate facade and numerous jharokhas (small windows), the Albert Hall Museum features a majestic facade with domes, arches, and elaborate carvings that showcase the architectural brilliance of its time.

Admire the beauty of the Hawa Mahal

  • As per your schedule, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and begin your day of sightseeing,
  • Your itinerary takes you to the Amber Fort- where you will be given a tour with your guide. On your way to the Amber Fort, you will make a stop at the Hawa Mahal.
  • Hawa Mahal, also known as “Palace of Wind”, was built in 1799 as an extension to the Royal City Palace of Jaipur. It allowed the royal ladies, who at the time strictly observed “pardah”, to be able to watch any processions and activities on the street without being seen by the public.

Visit the Jantar Mantar

  • A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observation site. This is the most significant, most comprehensive, and the best preserved of India’s historic observatories. It is an expression of the astronomical skill and cosmological concepts of the court of a scholarly prince at the end of the Mughal period.

Explore the alleys of the City Palace

  • The City Palace was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. As with most structures in Jaipur, this palace also reflects the fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture. It has a sequence of gardens, buildings and courtyards, temples and museums to give it a grand view that reflects its historical importance and magnificent royal grace.

Find some peace at Royal Gaitor

  • End your day of exploring and touring some of the gems of Jaipur at the Royal Gaitor. The royal cenotaphs, just outside the city walls beneath Nahargarh, feel remarkably undiscovered and are an appropriately restful place to visit. The stone monument is beautifully and intricately carved.

Jal Mahal (Water Palace)

  • The palace is a five-story structure, with four floors submerged in the water when the lake is full, leaving only the top floor visible.
  • Its architectural style blends Rajput and Mughal influences, characterized by red sandstone walls, arched passages, and traditional chhatris (domed pavilions).

Hand Block Printing Factory

  • Visitors to a Hand Block Printing factory can witness the meticulous process of block printing, from preparing the fabric to carving intricate designs on wooden blocks.
  • Similar to how the Hawa Mahal provided a way for royal women to observe street activities discreetly, these workshops offer insights into the careful application of dyes and patterns to create beautiful textiles.

Explore the impressive Amber Fort

  • Set in a picturesque location, Amber Fort is a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The palace complex has some very interesting apartments: Jai Mandir, Sheesh Mahal, Sukh Niwas, Ganesh Pol and Temple of Kali are some of the prominent areas of interest.
