Tour Plan

Day 1 — Delhi to Agra (Drive via Yamuna Expressway)

Your driver will collect you from your Delhi hotel or the airport in the morning. Enjoy a comfortable, scenic drive on the Yamuna Expressway toward Agra (approx. 3–4 hours depending on traffic). On arrival in Agra, check into your hotel and freshen up before heading out for an afternoon exploration. Start at Agra Fort, a red-sandstone stronghold that served as the Mughal imperial residence for generations; your guide will walk you through the fort’s palaces, halls, and private chambers while explaining the lives of the emperors who ruled from here. Later, choose to relax at Mehtab Bagh for a peaceful sunset view of the Taj across the Yamuna, or stroll through Agra’s lively markets to watch artisans at work. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel or a recommended local restaurant and rest for an early start the next day.

Day 2 — Sunrise Taj Mahal → Fatehpur Sikri → Return to Delhi ( Start at 5 AM)

Rise very early for the highlight: the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Enter the complex as dawn breaks to see the marble change color in the soft morning light — a truly memorable experience. After the Taj, return to your hotel for breakfast and check-out. Mid-morning you’ll depart for Fatehpur Sikri (approx. 40–60 minutes from Agra). Spend 1.5–2 hours exploring this remarkably preserved 16th-century city built by Emperor Akbar — don’t miss Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, and the intimate courtyards that tell Mughal stories. After your visit, begin the drive back to Delhi, with arrival in the early evening.
