8:30 AM: Pick up from your hotel in Udaipur

Experience the beauty of Udaipur with our guided city tour! Our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a captivating journey through the colorful sights of this enchanting city.

9:00 AM: Visit Jagdish Temple

Our first stop is the Jagdish Temple, a renowned temple located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur. Built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, this temple showcases the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), known as the preserver of the Universe and holds significance for being the largest temple in Udaipur. The entrance to this majestic structure can be found just 150 meters away from Bara Pol, one of the gates leading into the City Palace.

9:30 AM: Explore the City Palace of Udaipur

Our next stop is the City Palace of Udaipur, a stunning example of the opulence and grandeur enjoyed by the rulers of Mewar in ancient times. Located on the eastern banks of Pichola Lake, this palace boasts a unique blend of architectural styles including Rajasthani, European, Chinese, and Mughal influences. Its intricate details and lavish design make it one of the most captivating attractions in Udaipur. Within its complex are several notable monuments such as Monsoon Palace, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, and Neemach Mata temple. Surrounded by the majestic Aravalli Mountains with a picturesque backdrop behind it all,the palace stands out with its exquisite marble and granite construction adorned with delicate features like marble-work,mirror-work,silver-work,inlay-work,and wall paintings.

11:30 AM: Lake Pichola

Pichola Lake, an artificial fresh water lake dating back to 1362 AD, was named after the nearby village of Picholi. Over the centuries, this picturesque lake has been surrounded by palaces, marble temples, family mansions and bathing ghats. One of its most famous attractions is the Lake Palace which has now been transformed into a luxurious heritage hotel. Additionally, two islands within the lake - Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir - add to its charm and beauty.

12:30 PM: Ahar Cenotaphs

The Ahar Cenotaphs, located in Ahar, Rajasthan just 2 km east of Udaipur, are a stunning collection of more than 250 cenotaphs built over the course of approximately 350 years. These grand structures were erected to honor and commemorate the lives of the maharajas of Mewar who ruled this region. Among these impressive monuments are 19 chhatris that serve as memorials to each maharaja who was cremated here. This site is also referred to as Mahasati due to its significance in Hindu mythology.

12:30 PM: Karni Mata Temple

The recently introduced Udaipur Ropeway has quickly become a popular tourist attraction. This cable car connects the famous Deen Dayal Park, located on top of a hill near Lake Pichola, to Machhala Hill Top where Karni Mata temple is situated. Its purpose is to make it easier for devotees and tourists alike to visit the temple and other historical sites at Machhala Hill. Launched in June 2008, this ropeway has been a convenient mode of transportation for many visitors ever since.

1:30 PM: Lunch Break

After exploring the sights, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at your choice of restaurant in Udaipur. With its diverse culinary scene and range of dining options, there is something for every taste bud to savor in this beautiful city.

2:00 PM: Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari

Saheliyon ki Bari, meaning Garden of the Maids, was built by Maharana Bhopal Singh. Located in the northern part of Udaipur city, this garden boasts beautiful fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool, and marble elephants. The distinct sounds of each water channel add to the serene atmosphere of the place. Visitors can also explore a small museum within the gardens. Interestingly, Sahelion Ki Bari was originally created for 48 young women attendants who accompanied a princess as part of her dowry when she married into royalty in Udaipur.

3:00 PM: Fateh Sagar Lake

Fateh Sagar Lake is a man-made lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar. It was built in the 1680s to the north-west of Udaipur, adjacent to Lake Pichola. This beautiful artificial lake has become a popular tourist destination for its serene atmosphere and stunning views.
